At Macworld, Apple CEO Steve Jobs revealed new iTunes movie rental service with 1,000 movies from all major studios. After download, user can watch it for 30 days. Pricing is $2.99 for older movies, $3.99 for new releases and $4.99 for new HD movies. The movies began playing 30 seconds after the download is initiated. The service will go live by the end of February. (One day before this announcement, Netflix revealed that all of their subscriber would be able to stream as many movies and TV shows as they want from a library containing more than 6,000 titles.) At the same Macworld event, Steve Jobs announced a cheaper version of AppleTV ($229) that will allow to downloading movies to the TV set, and the amazing ultralight laptop MacBook Air, which measures .76 inch think with the standard 80-gig hard drive, and only .16 inch thick with an optional flash memory drive.

I would just like to forewarn everyone that I am going to be filing a new patent that will boldly drive innovation and make me stinking rich while simultaneously crushing the patent industry. Foxy is using whatever means she can to get out of Rikers Island. The latest is she recently met with the presiding judge and there is a glimmer of hope. The only doctor that has been able to help Foxy and her ear situation is located in California. As expected the DA was hating, saying that there should be no sentence reduction even of Fox was dying. The judge will rule later in the month.
BROOKE HOGAN LEAVES SCOTT STORCH?
I don't know what kind of contract Brooke Hogan had with Scott Storch. I would assume the Hulkster can get her out off any contract –even Scott Storch. Well, Brooke has a myspace page that has her record label status as, “Trying to find a good one!" She signed to Scott Storch's Storchavelli Records in 2006 and hasn't done a lot musically.
Restoration of islands in Lake of the Isles set to begin
Weather and ice conditions permitting, forestry crews will begin restoration work on the islands in Minneapolis' Lake of the Isles next week. Non-native, invasive shrub species such as buckthorn and mulberry, as well as half-fallen trees that create safety hazards, will be cut down and burned to prepare for restoration of the islands' native habitat. Crews will start on Mike's Island and move onto Raspberry Island as time and conditions permit. Four crews will work in various sections of the island, creating multiple burn sites. They also will treat buckthorn stumps with herbicide. Large dead trees that are standing will be left, as they provide wildlife habitat. The majority of downed trees along the island shorelines also will be left because of their habitat value for fish and shore birds.
