| ESPN's New HD Production Shot in Remote Location, on Time and Under ...
PARSIPPANY, N.J., Aug. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- "The Bronx is Burning", ESPN's new miniseries makes use of an innovative digital workflow design using Technicolor Creative Bridge's Mobile Digital Lab and Theatre (MDLT). This state of the art MDLT houses a Globalstor ExtremeStor DI workstation with the NVIDIA Quadro FX 4500 SDI by PNY graphics board running ASSIMILATE's SCRATCH Data-Centric Workflow Solution. On location at Sonalysts Studios in Waterford Connecticut, the MDLT gave the production team access to a complete digital "pre-post" pipeline; allowing the production team to establish a new pre-post colorization model. As a result the HD production was much more efficient and the final online color correction was much more cost effective. "The Bronx is Burning" was shot on location throughout Connecticut, using the Thomson VIPER FilmStream(TM) digital camera.

Delirious? to release Kingdom of Comfort
The RIAA Certified Gold-selling, globally impacting Christian rock band Delirious? return with their eleventh studio album, Kingdom of Comfort, set to release April 1, 2008 on Sparrow Records. It is the first new studio album since the acclaimed 2005 release, Mission Bell, Delirious?'s Kingdom of Comfort questions everything, from cancer to consumerism, “five star" dreams to slums and poverty. It is an album that calls for sacrifice, social justice and love. Recent tours have taken Delirious? to some of the poorest countries on earth where they've faced encounters with life that made poverty personal and forced hard questions to be asked by each member of the band. The visits have sparked a newfound commitment to social justice and compassionate ministry as an outworking of their being drawn ever closer to the Kingdom of God, as opposed to the kingdom of comfort.
Small plane crashes near Princeton Airport
They are essentially treated as a factory prototype that is undergoing testing before production. Most are built from kits that are designed by trained engineers, and have the support of the factory to answer questions and help the builder. As for noise, it's funny. I hate the noise of leaf blowers going steady for hours on end, but I don't mind a plane flying over for a minute or two. I live under one of the approach paths to Old Bridge, so don't say that I don't care because I don't live near the airport! .
